Ingredients

️Ingredients ( 2 soup bowls)
  • 1 1/2 cup Green peas fresh/ frozen
  • 1 tbsp onion chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic/ 2 if small
  • 15 gm fresh coconut
  • Salt & pepper as per taste
  • 1/4 tbsp Cumin seed powder
Powerful blender
Garnishing
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp optional chopped Basil leaves
  • A squeeze of lemon (optional)

Instructions

Method
  1. Slice the coconut
  2. Steam the green peas & coconut for 10 minutes.
  3. ️Add steamed pea, coconut & water from the steamer to the blender.
  4. Blend till you get the creamy-textured liquid.
  5. ️Dry roast the finely chopped onion & garlic.
  6. Pour the blended liquid over it and add salt & pepper.
  7. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  8. ️Garnish with coriander & basil.
  9. Squeeze lemon juice optional
  10. Serve hot!

️In case you don’t like coconut
  1. You can replace it with soaked almonds (8 pieces for 2 servings)
