Yummy Cashew cheese
Very versatile ️Pizza cheese️Sandwich spread️Salad dressing️Coleslaw
- 1-2 cup soaked cashews Or you can mix 2tbs melon seeds to it
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tbsp Mustard powder
- 1/2 lemon juice
- Salt and red chilly powder
- 1/4 tbsp Black salt
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 3-4 tbsp Water
- Wash and soak the cashews overnight or for 5 hrs In water.
- If you want to reduce the quantity of nuts, soak 2tbs of melon seeds separately.
- Peel the garlic and fine chop it.
- Crush the mustard seeds to make the powder.
- Drain and wash the cashews and seeds ( if adding)
- In a blender add cashew with little water.
- Blend till you get the creamy texture.
- Add rest of the ingredients to the cashew cream, blend well till you get the smooth creamy texture again.
It should be of pourable consistency ️
Store in fridge, preferably in the glass container.
It will get thicker by every passing day.
Remains fresh for 3-4 days.
